God is in charge, and never loses His grip on any part of His creation. When we face conditions and struggles, like we are with this covid19, we must not allow it to cause us to lose sight of who we serve. God is always God, and world conditions do nothing to limit our God in any way. This is likely the most unique world situation any of us have ever experienced, but I can assure you it will be resolved, and as believer we must remember what the Word of God tells us; Rom 8:28: And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
What we then must ask ourselves is this; if we love the Lord, and are called of God, what would He have us do for the good of others? I believe that the platform of social media can be used so effectively during this time of isolation. Consider how many people have had their lives turned upside down, have been sobered, and are looking for answers. The answer of course is Jesus Christ. This is a time for all of us to encourage not only one another but also our unsaved family and friends to seek the Lord. Outside of Jesus Christ nothing in this world makes sense. I believe even when this pandemic is over, people will remain sober, no longer looking for the pleasures of this life to bring satisfaction. Eph 2:10: For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. For we as believers this is not a time for us to let up, but to step up. Consider this; since Pastor Frank Jr. and I have been preaching live stream and on line we have had twice as many people listening to our sermons than those who normally attend. But having said that, we miss you guys so much. When I am preaching and look out at the empty seats I still see all of your faces. (you always sit in the same place) You might not be physically here but you are in Spirit. We love all you guys!!!!!
Love and Blessings
